WhatsApp is the world’s most popular messaging app with over 2 billion users. That’s why WhatsApp is constantly working on new features so that its users do not turn to another messaging app.

Usually, these new features come in the first beta program and reach all users after going through various testing stages. As of 2021, WhatsApp will be introducing a number of features, there are some features that are currently in the beta testing process and hopefully will be available to users in the coming weeks or months. Multi-device support was expected to be introduced in 2020.

New Terms Of Services

The updated version 2.21.1.1 of Whatsapp has been uploaded onto the Google Play Beta Program.

After the update now WhatsApp has started asking some of its users to begin accepting the new terms of services.

Accepting these new terms won’t change your WhatsApp experience: your chats, messages, calls and status updates are still end-to-end encrypted.

Multiple Accounts

WhatsApp accounts can now be used on only one device at a time, but users will soon be able to use their account on 4 devices simultaneously.

This feature will not require the main device to have a dynamic internet connection like the WhatsApp web. Simply put, even if you don’t have a phone, it’s possible to use a WhatsApp account on the web or other devices, just like Facebook Messenger.

This feature will be called LinkedIn devices and WhatsApp will also introduce a new user interface of the desktop version for multi-device support. Calling Support in WhatsApp Web Version This feature has been tested by WhatsApp in beta versions for the past few months but is not yet available to the general public.

It is not clear how long this feature will be available. This feature will bring up a pop-up window when the WhatsApp is called on the web which will have the username, profile picture and call, video/audio and mute buttons.

Mute Video

This feature was first used in the beta version in November. As the name suggests, this feature allows users to mute a video sent to a friend or a status update by uploading a video. Under this feature, when a video is selected, a mute option will appear in it and when the video is sent, the friend will receive the video without sound.
