The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has decided to increase the number of spectators in the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

According to the details, the NCOC has decided to increase the number of spectators in PSL 6 from 20% to 50%. Spectators will be allowed according to the capacity of the stadium. This permission will be effective from March 15.

Cricket fans in Karachi will not be able to take advantage of this facility, but 14,000 spectators will be able to enjoy matches at the 28,000-seat Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

The NCOC decided to open shrines and cinemas from March 15, while the requirement to work from the homes of 50 per cent of staff was also excluded.

The NCOC decided to allow indoor weddings from March 15, while the time restrictions in shopping malls and parks were also lifted.

According to the NCOC, Coronavirus SOPs will have to be strictly adhered to in indoor marriages, while SOPs will continue to be enforced in terms of wearing masks and social distances.

The NCOC said that smart lockdown would be implemented if required. After review, it was suggested that Cant Board elections and local body elections could be held in May-June.
