Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday has summoned a meeting of senior leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Party in Islamabad.
As per the details, the matter of allotting tickets for the Senate Elections is likely to be discussed in the meeting.
Moreover, the attendees will also discuss the strategy to handle the anti-government campaigns of opposition parties.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has once again thanked overseas Pakistanis.
Taking to Twitter, he announced that remittances from have increased by 24% compared to last year.
He said, “Remittances from overseas Pakistanis were $2.27 bn in Jan, up 19% over Jan 2020 – 8th consecutive month of remittances above $2b. To date, in this fiscal year, they are up 24% compared to last year. This is a record for our country.”
