Maryam Replied To Zardari Who Asked Nawaz Sharif To Repatriate
Former President Asif Ali Zardari asked Nawaz Sharif to repatriate, of which the daughter of former Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz replied.
Addressing a meeting of the Opposition Alliance (PDM), former President Asif Ali Zardari asked Nawaz Sharif to come to Pakistan and go to jail together.
During the meeting, Maryam Nawaz addressed him and replied that just like you are on the video link, Nawaz Sharif is also on the video link.
She expressed concern that Nawaz Sharif’s life is in danger in the custody of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
“My father has had two heart attacks in jail,” Maryam said.
Maryam Nawaz said that despite being the largest party, the PML-N supported the PDM, followed the decisions of the PDM PML-N members, voted for Yousuf Raza Gilani.
Earlier, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has on Tuesday completely refused the resignations of his party lawmakers from assemblies at any cost.
Addressing the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) meeting via video link, Asif Zardari asked the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif to return to Pakistan for the conclusive political battle.
He had asked Mian Nawaz Sharif to fly back to Pakistan and then the PPP party lawmakers would submit their resignations to him.
The former President also reminded, “Mass resignations will only strengthen the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.”
“If Nawaz Sharif is serious in his battle for democracy, then he should fly back to the country,” added Zardari.
