Galaxy A52: The First Samsung Phone to get August Security Update
Yet again, Samsung becomes the first Android smartphone to release the latest Android security patch. After the release of the July 2021 security patch to many of its smartphones and tablets, the tech giant has now released the August security patch to Galaxy A52 even the month has not started yet.
The Galaxy A52 (SM-A525F) has started getting the latest security patch in Caucasus countries, Germany, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine. The new update will be available in other countries in the coming weeks.
The update has the firmware version A525FXXU3AUG4, which brings the August 2021 security patch to the smartphone.
However, the company is yet to reveal the list of fixed bugs with this update. The information regarding this will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
The new update can be installed either via OTA update, or it can be manually installed by navigating to Settings > Software update and tapping on Download and Install.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A52 earlier this year with Android 11 based One UI 3.1. The phone is currently on the monthly security update schedule. Samsung has promised three major Android OS upgrades for this device.
