Samsung’s most awaited Unpacked launch is less than a month away. The new wireless earbuds along with foldable smartphones will be unveiled at the event. There are several leaks about Galaxy Buds 2 and other products coming up.

Now there are some more details about the Buds 2, and those details are directly from Samsung itself.

The Galaxy Buds 2 are yet to be released and Samsung is working on the Galaxy Wearable app, which will support the new wireless earbuds.

A developer was able to go into an upcoming app update and glean some interesting data, one of which is particularly intriguing.

It looks like Samsung will be copying one feature of the Apple AirPod. Users will be able to use Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) when using just one Buds 2 earbud.

A similar feature will be available to the Galaxy Buds Pro and Galaxy Buds Live through an update.

There was a new feature introduced with the latest Wearable app update. Samsung will allow the user to individually disable or enable touchpad actions such as tap, double-tap, triple tap, and touch and hold on the Galaxy Buds 2.

Unfortunately, there was no option found to select between high and low levels of ANC nor the 360 Audio feature. However, it’s possible that these features do exist, but are not visible at the moment.

The Galaxy Buds 2 will have all the functionality of the Galaxy Buds Pro.

The software also reveals a previously unknown yellow color option for the Buds 2. Black, green, violet, and white, among other previously known color variants, have been verified.

However, the green version discovered in the app differs slightly from what leaked renders have shown us.

The battery data page and the Find my earphones portion of the Galaxy Wearable app have also been overhauled by Samsung. Finally, the app lists the battery capacity of the Buds 2: 61 mAh per earbud and 472 mAh for the case.
