The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) chairman Professor Dr. Saeeduddin has stated that the examinations of intermediate will be held as per scheduled dates starting July 26.
He further stated that after the examination of the Intermediate second year, the exams of the first year will be conducted.
He said the rollout of the date sheet and admit cards, among other arrangements, has already taken place.
He noted the board will follow the directives and SOPs declared by the Sindh health department.
However, stating that candidates regard no misunderstandings and misleading information about the conducting of exams.
The inoculation of all the staff members and invigilation officials have been made sure of, stated Dr. Saeeduddin.
On the contrary, due to the surge in India’s Delta variant cases, the Sindh government has agreed today to enforce fresh restrictions on movement, further limiting business hours and restaurants operations, and closing the marriage halls and educational institutes.
The verdict was made in the provincial task force meeting for COVID-19 controlled by Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.
The meeting further decided to limit business hours for shopping malls and markets between 6:00 am to 6:00 pm moreover proclaiming Friday and Sunday as safe days. Grocery shops, bakeries, and pharmacies will be exempted from the shutting down.
