His most notable work from the millennial generation is Bram Stoker’s Dracula(1992), Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure (1989), and two academy awards winners, Speed (1994).

Keanu played a handsome and unusually smart lawyer in The Devil’s Advocate (1997), a supernatural horror movie. However, his most notable work for Gen Z is as Neo in Matrix (1999) which is known to be one of the best sci-fi films ever made.

In 2005, he appeared as a devilishly stunning occult detective as John Constantine in Constantine (2005) and four years later in a science fiction movie The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008).

Generation Alpha: From 2010 and after

By the end of 2010, beloved internet heart-throb Keanu suffered from a couple of commercial failures but his role as a revengeful hitman in action thriller John Wick (2014) pulled him back onto the road of stardom. Two more sequels were released a few years later while the 4th installment of the franchise is set to be released in 2021. Plus, we love the patchy beard moment.

He also appeared in an erotic thriller, Knock Knock (2015), and provided his voice for a documentary film, Deep Web (2015), and the animation movie Toy Story 4 (2019). His Always Be My Maybe (2019) role was widely appreciated where he played a quirky and insufferable version of himself.
