Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira is moving to Brazilian club Flamengo. He was an unutilized alternative as Manchester begin their Premier League season with a 5-1 win over Leeds on Saturday.
His contract at Old Trafford will last till summer 2023, with Manchester having an option whether to exceed his contract for one more year or not.
He spent his last season at Serie A club Lazio, He will be loaned out to Flamengo for the 4th time by Manchester following spells at Granada and Valencia.
Andreas Pereira made forty appearances for Manchester during the years 2019 and 2020 campaigns, but the inclusion of Bruno Fernandes in January 2020 and Donny van de Beek last summer have sent him down the striking order.
He has played 75 matches for Manchester in total, scoring 4 goals and registering 5 assists.
