BIEK announce to continue First-year exams as per schedule
Chairman Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, Prof Dr. Saeeduddin stated that the exams of the intermediate part-1 (first- year) will continue as per the schedule.
The statement by the intermediate board chairman stated that the examinations would start on August 23 and end on September 13.
It is speculated that more than 136,000 students are expected to appear in the examination.
The progress came after Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah had declared that all schools in the province would continue to stay closed for one more week than the previously announced date till August 30.
The CM stated that the educational institutions would recommence physical appearance classes from August 30 which was formerly arranged to start from coming Monday.
CM Murad Ali Shah said that all teachers and parents will be made obligatory to provide their vaccination certificates.
“All the staff should be vaccinated before the reopening of schools,” said CM Sindh.
Furthermore, the chief minister, in a statement, proclaimed that universities would also continue to stay closed till August 30 due to the increasing positivity rate of the coronavirus.
