COVID-19: Pakistan has receives more consignments of vaccines

Ministry of National Health has stated that Pakistan received more COVID-19 vaccine batches, which have been handed over to the authority.

More dosages of Sinopharm and Sinovac Covid-19 vaccines have reached Pakistan on August 14 and 15, claimed a spokesperson of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).

The NDMA said in a statement Pakistan has further received two million more dosages of Sinopharm and shipment of four million doses of Sinovac vaccine.

Whereas, earlier a foreign airlines flight has transported one million doses of Covid-19 vaccine shipment of China’s Sinopharm underneath the COVAX vaccine policy.

On the contrary, Pakistan has established 5.5 million doses of Moderna, 2.5 million doses of Astra Zeneca, and 100,000 doses of Pfizer through the COVAX stand.

Pakistan has accelerated labor to vaccinate its populace over the limitations levied on unvaccinated people.

So far, the country has directed over 46 million doses to its people.

According to the Ministry of National Health, Pakistan has 34,343,317 people who have received a single dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, while 12,104,373 people have been completely vaccinated,
