ISLAMABAD– Pictures of an obscene photo shoot in front of a portrait of Quaid-e-Azam in Islamabad have angered federal authorities after a huge backfire on social media.

A pair dressed like fashion models can be seen standing in revealing costumes in front of a portrait of Quaid-e-Azam on Express Highway Islamabad in the viral photos.

The obscene photos prompted sharp criticism on Twitter, with users pushing federal authorities to arrest those responsible for the obscene actions. Following the scandal, senior journalist Ansar Abbasi took to Twitter to call for action against the couple, tagged Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Hamza Shafqaat.


The Deputy Commissioner’s Office responded to his tweet by asking the public to contact them if they have any information.

Meanwhile, authorities have started a search for the couple, with no other details available at this time.
