Amid the grim news of rising cases, Pakistan on Friday crossed the milestone of 50 million doses administered across the country, said the National Command and Operation Centre.
“Well done Pakistan!!! Landmark of 5 Crore COVID vaccine doses (50 Million doses) crossed!!!” said the NCOC in a tweet.

As the country’s nerve centre in the fight against coronavirus shared the good news, it also urged unvaccinated citizens to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
It also informed citizens, who are awaiting their second dose, to walk in at any vaccination centre after 28 days.
The latest statistics showed that Pakistan has administered 50,985,184 vaccine doses in the country. Out of those 39,951,787 are of first does and 15,269,699 are completely vaccinated.
