Pakistan Brushes Aside West Indies In Second T20I By 7 Runs
Nicholas Pooran's knock went in vain as Pakistan bowlers pulled the game,...
Pakistan wins the four-match T20I series by 1-0 against West Indies after the rain interrupted the match.
Out of four matches, only the second match was completed with Pakistan winning by seven wickets. The first match in Barbados, the third and the fourth matches in Guyana were affected by the rain.
In the fourth T20I, Pakistan opted to bowl first and only three overs were played. After the rain interrupted the match, the overs were reduced to nine overs per side.
However, the rain continued after some time and the umpires decided to call off the match.
Initially, the T20I series between both teams was decided to be a five-match series. But due to the COVID-19 scare during ODIs between Australia and West Indies, the Cricket West Indies (CWI) was forced to reduce it to four-match series.
Both teams will play two Test matches starting from August 12 at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica.
