The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is all set to show its political strength at Karachi’s Bagh-e-Jinnah today.

According to details, arrangements are being made in the venue in which a 75-foot wide and 25-foot tall stage is prepared for the PDM jalsa.

Moreover, a 10-foot high and 40-foot widescreen is also being installed on the stage and the organizers are also claiming to place one lakh chairs at Bagh-e-Jinnah.

The police contingent deployed at the venue includes 25 senior officers, 65 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), and 3,748 police personnel.

Women security personnel have also been stationed there, with 30 of the total 93 belonging to the Special Security Unit (SSU) of Sindh Police.

Sound system installation and lighting are also being arranged at Bagh-e-Jinnah for the PDM jalsa.

It should be noted that Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Shehbaz Sharif, and other leaders will address the jalsa.

A day earlier, Fazlur Rehman announced multiple anti-government rallies nationwide soon.

He said that a nationwide movement will be launched against the government and a white paper will be issued on the three-year performance of the government.

He said that PPP “stabbed PDM in the back”, and has now become “a thing of the past”.
