Peshawar: Man arrested by police for wearing mask to frighten people
A man in Peshawar is being detained for attempting to frighten people by wearing a face mask.
In January of this year, Pakistani police detained a man for attempting to terrify people while dressed in a frightful costume. Something similar has happened in Pakistan once again.
Naila Inayat, a Pakistani journalist, shared a video of the man being imprisoned inside a jail. The man can be seen attempting to remove his face mask in the eight-second video shared by Inayat.
“This guy arrested in Peshawar had plans to celebrate Independence Day by scaring people. Apparently, the police wasn’t much impressed. He was caught in his scary mask,” she tweeted while sharing the video.
The man is thought to have been trying to scare people celebrating “Independence Day.” The Pakistani Police, on the other hand, were alerted to the man’s activities and detained him.

Earlier this year, Pakistani journalist Omar R Quraishi tweeted a photo of the man who was also detained for frightening people on New Year’s Eve while wearing a costume mask.
The man in question was covered in a wolf mask when he planned to “prank” people on the last day of 2020 following which he was detained by the authorities.
