PM to share government’s three-year performance report

Prime Minister Imran Khan to share the success of three years that will highlight the key accomplishments of his government.

The report will mark a journey of steady economic policy and welfare developments.

The prime minister will launch the ‘Three-year Performance Report’ that gives an understanding of the efforts made by each ministry and division in enabling the common man in line with the visualization of Naya Pakistan.

The Report 2018-21 is accumulated by the Ministry of Information and broadcasting under the assistance of its head Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, which emphases on the government’s achievements in spite of the global economic recession due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The 251-page Report outlines all the accomplishments of 44 public bodies counting ministries, divisions and departments.

Besides defining the starting position of each sector, it concentrates on key purposes, updates on ingenuities, long-term policies, jurisdictive policy framework and the projects in the pipeline.

The content has been described through infographics and pertinent facts and figures.

After coming into power in August 2018, the government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government confronted many ‘inherited challenges’ comprising economic unpredictability, poverty, and insufficient education and health amenities.

Whereas, the passage of progress has added several feathers in the cap of the government, predominantly supporting the COVID-19 situation by choosing the ‘smart lockdown strategy’.

Pakistan is recently ranked by The Economist as the ‘third-best performing country’ for managing the pandemic.

Management of 30 million inoculation doses across the country and self-reliance in developing Personal Protection Equipment is also part of key accomplishments.

On the contrary, in order to elevate the common man, the government propelled the developments such as Naya Pakistan Housing Programme for inexpensive housing to low-income groups, the Ehsaas programme for social security and the Kamyab Jawan Programme for communicating services to youth to help them get an occupation.

A lot of other achievements in various sectors are added in the report, which has proved to be the key aspect of winning the hearts of the people of  Pakistan.
