PTI Saudi Arabia chapter president to work for Pakistan community

Newly-elected Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Saudi Arabia chapter president Uzair Bhatta assured that he would work with Pakistan Journalist Forum (PJF) to address issues being faced by Pakistani community.

“Above self-interest, we will work abroad for the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and our Pakistani brothers, take practical steps to address issues being faced by the Pakistani community. Imran Khan has been elected as the Welfare Secretary from Jeddah City and Syed Hashim from Makkah Mukarramah. They will work with the consulate and embassy to resolve any issues regarding the welfare of the community. The national body will also announce representatives of the Welfare Secretary,” said Uzair Bhatta at a dinner held late Wednesday night.
He hosted an introductory meeting in honor of members of PJF at a local restaurant in the Saudi coastal city of Jeddah, attended by media persons with newly-elected body.
Newly-elected deputy secretary of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Middle East Aqeel Arain also thanked the party leadership for choosing him for this important position. Responsibilities have already increased “but I will do my best to fulfill my responsibilities.” He lauded services of the PJF in Saudi Arabia for the last four decades.

PJF Saudi Arabia president Chaudhry Maroof Hussain congratulated the new body and assured them of his full support. He said that he would work together to promote fair journalism.

Those who were elected included president Aziz Bhatta, vice president Babar Awan, information secretary Arsalan Shahid, and president Khawaja Hammad from Jeddah City, information secretary Imran Shah, welfare secretary Imran Khan from the national body of PTI Saudi Arabia chapter.

Newly-elected deputy secretary from Makkah Wasim Khan, finance secretary Chaudhry Shehzad, Welfare Secretary Syed Hashim were also present.
