LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said on Saturday that the provincial government has prepared a development package for every district of the province in consultation with the lawmakers.
“A separate development package for every district has been prepared, elected representatives have been consulted in the preparation of the District Development Package,” said the CM during his meeting with Federal Minister for Water Resources Moonis Elahi. He added that the package will offer “equal development” and will disburse Rs360 billion in every city.
In his meeting with Elahi at the CM House, Buzdar said that Pakistan has embarked on a path of progress under Prime Minister Imran Khan’s leadership. He added that there is no room for politics of chaos in the prevailing circumstances and assured the federal minister that the opposition cannot mislead the people.
“Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML) is our ally [and we] have the best working relationship with the party,” said Buzdar.
On the other hand, Elahi said that his party will continue working with the PTI to provide “more facilities to the people”. He added that the PML-Q’s objective is to only serve the people under Usman Buzdar’s leadership.
