Two ‘NADRA’ officers arrested for exploitation of authority, FIA
Two NADRA officers have been arrested on charges of illegitimately aiding a foreign citizen to obtain an original identity card, FIA.
A case has been registered against the arrested officers on an immediate basis.
Assistant Director Hamad Hussain and Senior Executive Rizwan Khan are the two National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) officers who have been detained by the FIA, stated the reports.
According to the sources, with the support of Assistant Director Hamad Hussain, a 46-year-old foreign person succeeded in obtaining a national identity card from NADRA.
The suspect’s NIC was made on the counterfeit identity card, which was originally delivered to a lady.
