A new spell of rainfall will begin in Karachi from Thursday (September 09).

According to the official statement, the new spell will likely continue for two to three days and bring rainfall with thunderstorms.

The eastern parts of Sindh will receive rainfall tonight under the effect of a Low-Pressure Area in central India, stated Director Met Office Sardar Sarfaraz.

Whereas, some parts of Karachi received light to moderate rain on Tuesday morning.

Light drizzle and moderate rain were reported across the few areas of Karachi with Malir and East districts amongst the earliest to receive the rain.

The fresh monsoon system will bring light to moderate rainfall in the region, Director Met Office Sardar Sarfaraz.

The heavy rain producing monsoon low over southern Sindh was vanished and become insignificant stated the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

“Packed with clouds, moisture, and precipitation, it will trigger the formation of low-pressure areas in the Bay of Bengal from September 09”, claimed a weather report.

The weather system will bring rainfall in Sindh and the nearby Kutch region in India.
