Besiktas signs midfielder Miralem Pjanic from Barcelona
Turkish club Besiktas have signed midfielder Miralem Pjanic from Barcelona on a season-long loan deal.
As per the reports, Besiktas have decided to pay one-third of Miralem salary for the season and there are no loan fees.
Last summer Miralem joined Barça from Juventus for €60 million, and had few chances with Ronald Koeman, with most of his thirty appearances coming as a substitute.
The Bosnian was willing to stay and fight for a place in the team this season but was told by the coach that he was not part of the plans and decided to go to Turkey and play regular minutes.
Miralem will still have 2 years remaining on his agreement, as soon as he returns from the loan, and Barça will hope that he impresses at Besiktas to attract more suitors next summer.
