Four killed in Orangi Town due to heavy rain in Karachi
After heavy rain in Karachi, the roof of a house collapsed in Orangi Town which caused the death of a woman and her three kids.
A woman and her three children were crushed to death after the roof of a house collapsed.
The incident took place at Street 15, MPR Colony in Qasba, stated District West Senior Superintendent of Police Suhai Aziz.
The rainwater had gathered in the neighborhood last night and entered the family’s house, stated the SSP.
The owner of the house Rasool Saeed, and the other family members walked out of the house because of the water.
Whereas, Naseeb Hawa Khatoon and her children were sleeping inside when the roof collapsed.
The incident took place in the early hours of the morning. Upon getting the report, police, Rangers, and rescue officials hurried to the spot and started eradicating wreckage from the distorted house, stated the Police.
According to the Police, Four bodies were primarily found in the wreckage.
On the contrary, SSP Aziz said a 10-year-old with wounds was also pulled out of the wreckage.
The police have started the investigation while the injured and deceased have been shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
