Islamabad imposes micro smart lockdown in 11 sectors
The region administration has levied a micro smart lockdown in 11 sectors of Islamabad in an attempt to control the increasing coronavirus cases in the city.
The measure is taken for the people to strictly restrict in these areas for two weeks.

- G13/2 – streets 33, 34, 48
- I8/4 – streets 85, 86
- I9/4 – streets 34, 35
- I10/2 – street 3
Whereas, only grocery stores and pharmacies will remain open in the areas.
One individual will be permitted to leave the house to buy requirements.
It will be compulsory for them to carry their CNICs at all times.
All private and public meetings have been barred.
The zones have been inculcated to guarantee the strict application of SOPs, violators will be punished, stated the commissioners and assistant commissioners.
In the past 24 hours, 3,480 new covid-19 cases were informed across the country, while 82 people succumbed to the deadly virus.
The infection rate in the country has reached 5.05%.
Furthermore, earlier this week the government decided to close educational institutions in Islamabad till September 15.
