Nokia G50 5G leak features high-end images and specifications

Nokia G-series in the entry-level smartphone series from HMD Global. Recently a new model to this series has been added – the Nokia G50 5G.

The images and specifications of the new phone were leaked.

According to the European publication winFuture.de, the Nokia G50 5G features a Snapdragon 480 chipset at its core. It is a budget smartphone with 5G functionality, that is built on the 8nm fabrication process.

It is powered by a 4,850 mAh battery which, according to HMD Global, can last two days. However, if the battery is running low, it does not have the ability to quick charge.

The new Nokia G50 5G features two shades according to press renders – sand and blue.

HMD Global has reverted to old designs that it has been using for the past few generations. The camera arrangement at the back is within the donut-style island. It features a 48MP main sensor with two low-resolution sensors.

The edges of the frame are round. The power button functions two ways; one is the power button and the other is the fingerprint scanner.

The Nokia G50 5G has a water-drop notch display at the front. The display is a 6.38″ IPS LCD display with 720p resolution. It has a standard 60Hz refresh rate.

There is no news about its launch time. However, a retail leaked listing has revealed the pricing of the phone.

The Nokia G50 5G will be the most affordable 5G-enabled phone in Nokia’s catalog. The price will start from €230 (~ Rs. 45,300).

Nokia could promote the new phone by offering free TWS earbuds with every purchase.
