Pakistan vice-captain, Shadab Khan is not satisfied with the changes and told that the team is not in an ideal situation after the resignations of Misbah-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis.

In a virtual interview, Shadab said that Misbah and Waqar’s resignation is their personal issue so he doesn’t want to comment on it, but he also told that currently, the team is not in an ideal situation.

He said, “I don’t want to comment on it in detail as it was their personal decision. But, the team situation is not ideal after their exit.

However, our focus is on the New Zealand series and T20 World Cup and we are moving forward to that,”

“If we think about such things, it will hurt our preparations for upcoming games. Hope that things go good for us,”

He also shared his experience of the meeting held with Ramiz Raja and told that the chairman want aggressive cricket from the team and wanted to build the team for modern cricket.

He said, “He shared his plans with us and gave us the confidence to play aggressive cricket. He has seen cricket all around the world and has immense experience,”

“Since Babar took charge as captain, we have been trying to develop a culture of playing aggressive cricket. Our results are not too good but we are trying to make things better,”

While talking about the New Zealand series, Shadab Khan said that Kiwi’s main players are not coming for the series, otherwise a good cricket would be seen by the fans.

He said, “They are not coming with their main team otherwise competitions would have been more competitive. But, still, there 8-9 players are regular and you can’t take any international team lightly,”
