The countdown for the ICC World T20 match between India and Pakistan has begun, and cricket fans from both countries are unable to remain quiet. Now, a renowned Pakistani fan has returned after breaking the internet in 2019 with his epic ‘Maaro, mujhe maaro’ outburst.

Momin Saqib, who went viral during the most recent cricket match between the archrivals, has returned to London. Before the October 24 knock, he recorded a video to express his emotions. In an emotional video, Saqib asked if fans were prepared for the historic encounter, calling it a fantastic opportunity for Pakistan to “avenge” their loss in the ICC World Cup 2019.

He said, “Kya aap tayyar hai jazbaat se bharpoor Pak-Bharat ka match? Do hi toh match hain. Ek Pakistan India ka aur dusra Aamir Khan ka Lagaan movie wala.” Even cricket fans on both sides of the border agreed with his statement.

“Khuda ki qasam, aise lagta hai kal 2019 ka match khatam hua hai. Waqt ka pata hi nahi chalta. Yeh match Pakistan ke liye jeetna bahot zaroori hai,” he added.

Most Pakistani fans were devastated after their team’s loss to the Men in Blue in the last World Cup, but Saqib rose to prominence as a result of his famous meltdown. Soon after, he was immortalized in memes, and his line is still used by netizens from both countries to this day.

In 2019, Pakistan was eliminated early from the competition, while India lost in the semi-finals to New Zealand.

The team Pakistan will restart their storied rivalry with India in the ICC World T20 on Sunday at the Dubai International Stadium.
