National T20 Cup: Khalid Usman fined for showing dissent during the match

Lahore, 13 October 2021: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Khalid Usman was fined for showing dissent during the first National T20 Cup semi-final against Northern at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on Tuesday.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) decided to fine him for 20% of his match fee for a level 1 offence for showing dissent at an umpire’s decision

Khalid argued with the umpire for not adjudging a delivery a no-ball during the 18th over of the second innings. He was found to violate Article 2.8 of the PCB Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel.

On-field umpires Asif Yaqoob and Rashid Riaz and third umpire Waleed Yaqub levelled the charge on the Khalid Usman, who accepted the sanction proposed by match-referee Mohammad Javed.
