HARIPUR: Pakistan would soon overcome the current economic crisis owing to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, a senior official said.
Addressing a public gathering after the inauguration of a Nadra office at Tarnawa Chowk, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Omer Ayub Khan said that the government would resolve the issue of inflation from the country through good policies, as it had overcome the coronavirus pandemic.
Talking about the developmental work in Haripur district, the minister said: “We have completed record projects in the district, including provision of Sui gas, electricity, construction of roads, hospitals, schools and water supply schemes.
He said soon the masses of Haripur district would get the benefit of electricity projects, as the Khanpur grid station would be inaugurated next month.
Earlier, on his arrival with MPA Akbar Ayub and Arshad Ayub, people warmly welcomed them and termed that they were the savior of the Haripur district, which was neglected and deprived for the last 70 years.
