KARACHI: The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) becomes the first airline to launch flights to and from Ras Al Khaimah with special fares, starting at Dh100, the airline tweeted.

Currently, Sharjah-based Air Arabia is operating from Ras Al Khaimah to different Pakistani cities.

“The national carrier of Pakistan said passengers from Ras Al Khaimah can book flights to Islamabad and Peshawar for as low as Dh100. The passengers will also be allowed to carry 30kg of free baggage allowance on these routes.”

“All passengers traveling to Pakistan must provide their personal details through PASS TRACK Mobile App or Web portal. The passengers must have a negative PCR test result, taken within 72 hours.”

Moreover, PIA is also offering one-way travel to Sharjah from Multan starting at $89 only.

An official said, in August PIA increased its flights to the UAE with new routes to the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The national flag carrier’s new flights to the northern emirate from Islamabad, Peshawar, Lahore and Karachi will help more Pakistani expats return to their jobs in the Gulf country after months of passenger flight suspensions by the UAE authorities.

PIA already operates flights from all major Pakistani cities to different emirates of the UAE, including Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah.
