RIYADH: The Saudi Education Ministry has reversed its decision to bring primary students back to schools from October 31, and decided to continue the online classes for the same, Arab media quoted a ministry official, as saying.
An official of the ministry said: “Students of primary and kindergarten will continue their classes online. Earlier, a deadline of October 31, was given to these students to attend physical classes.”
The recent step was taken in the light of the current situation because of the pandemic and to safeguard the students’ health.
The official also said the ministry will continue online classes for primary and kindergarten students to save their time and that their education does not get affected.
Earlier, the Ministry of Health made it mandatory for the students aged 12 to 18, to get vaccinated.
