The most awaited match of the ICC T20 World Cup between two Asian giants and arch-rivals Pakistan and India will be played on October 24.
However, Union Minister Giriraj Singh said that the match between the two neighboring countries should be reconsidered as the ties between them is not good.
Similarly, India’s Punjab Minister Pargath Singh has also said the same thing that the match would be canceled as the situation at the border is not good.
“India vs Pakistan match in T20 World Cup shouldn’t be held because the situation at the border isn’t ideal and both the countries are currently going through a stressful period,” he said.
He further added that humanity should be guarded and restrain from doing anything that could further worsen the relationships between the countries.
Earlier, Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli said that he sees the Pakistan-India match the same way as any other match.
While talking about the high prices of the tickets fr the match, he recognized the hype of the match.
“There is a lot of hype created around this game more so with ticket sales and the demands of tickets and right now, the value of those tickets is ridiculously high,” he had said, adding that it is all that he knows.
He further added that the environment is different from fans’ point of view. They are curious about the clash between Pakistan and India.
He said that the Indian team will stay professional about the match and will approach it in the normal way possible.
