Pakistan skipper Babar Azam maintained his top spot in the Men’s T20 International player rankings released by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday.
While he is still in the top spot since the last rankings were revealed, he slid from 839 to 809 points. England’s Dawid Malan has also maintained his second spot with just 4 points behind Babar.
Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batman Mohammad Rizwan, who was named player of the series during the T20I series against Bangladesh in Dhaka, stood at fourth place with 735 points, while left-hand batsman Fakhar Zaman went down five places to 35th spot.
Sri Lankan rising star Wanindu Hasaranga still leads the ICC T20I Men’s bowling rankings. Pakistan’s Shaheen Shah Afridi slipped one spot to 11th place while Shadab Khan slipped two spots to 14th place.
Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi maintained remains at the top among all-rounders.
