After receiving a severe backlash following the ICC T20 World Cup semi-final against Australia, Pakistan fast pacer Hasan Ali has finally responded to the criticism.

On his official Twitter handle, he said: “I know you are all upset because my performance didn’t meet your expectations from me but not more disappointed than me.”

Ali was called out for giving 44 runs in four overs and taking no wickets in the do-or-die semi-final against Australia on Thursday. Furthermore, he also lost a key catch.

However, some of the loyal fans backed up the cricketer which stopped some people from abusing him.

In his tweet, he urged his fans to not change their expectations of him.

While sharing his plans for the future he said: “I want to serve Pakistan cricket at the highest level possible, so back to hard work.”
