ISLAMABAD: The PTI government is taking all probable actions to provide urea to farmers at reasonable prices for wheat seeding, said Minister for Industries and Production Makhdum Khusro Bakhtyar in a meeting chaired by him on Friday.
In the press release issued by the ministry, Khusro stated that he guaranteed that the unceasing monitoring of urea supply from industrial units to the selling points across the country, stated a press release issued by the ministry.
Khusro praised the action taken by the fertilizer producers to ban the accumulators to smoothen the supply chain and market correction of urea countrywide.
“Owning to the negligence of Sindh government towards controlling prices of essential commodities in the province especially in Karachi and Hyderabad, the country had witnessed an increased inflation rate over the past years which had put a lot of pressure on our economy in terms of high-interest rate, which need to be done to control inflation,” he added.
Khusro claimed that the Sindh government had become a safe haven for hoarders and racketeers.
According to data, Punjab insulated by 4% in urea supplies, while 52% urea supplies hovered to Sindh as associated to last year in the period of September to November.
