LCCI president Mian Nauman Kabir said that the complexities in governance and rules and regulations were somehow hindering economic development.

The laws should be business-friendly. Acknowledging the government efforts for improving the ease of doing business, he said, a lot of work has to be done for putting the country on the path of economic development.

LCCI senior vice president Mian Rehman Aziz Chan and vice president Haris Ateeq were also present on the occasion.
