LAHORE: A five-member delegation of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) led by Alternate US Executive Director John Hurley called on Punjab chief secretary Kamran Ali Afzal and discussed progress on the ongoing ADB-funded projects in the province, a statement said.

Hurley said that the ADB is willing to enhance cooperation with the Punjab government in the areas of social development, agriculture and the environment.

The Punjab chief secretary welcomed the bank’s investment in the province, saying it would help achieve development targets in various sectors.

Planning and Development secretary Mujahid Sherdil was also present on the occasion.
