Pakistan veteran all-rounder Shoaib malik praised the national team for their unity and achievements during the team dinner on Sunday.

Pakistan has won the T20I series with the last match to be played today at Dhaka.

The national team had dinner night instead of a practice session to lighten up ahead of the final T20I match.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared a video on their official YouTube channel.

The video begins with veteran cricketers praising the team for their achievements, especially the skipper Babar Azam, wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Hasan Ali.

Rizwan holds the record for most runs in a single calendar year while Babar holds the record for most runs in the debut t20 World Cup by a batsman.

He lauded the cricketers by saying ‘well-done boys.’ He himself proved that age is just a number by scoring the fastest fifty during the ICC T20 World Cup. This also marks the fastest in the T20 history of Pakistan.

Malik said that these achievements are proof that the team will grab the top spot in not only one format, but all three formats of the game.

“Believe me, the team won’t rank top with individual performances but with the unity in the team,” said Malik.

“[The players] feel happy for whoever performs and that’s how the teams win and remain victorious for a long time,” he said.
