LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing on Wednesday arrested four suspects, including three women, for allegedly frauding people under the name of the Ehsaas Kafaalat Programme.
According to an FIA official, a complainant had claimed that the suspects were minting money from innocent people by asking for their ID cards. Through those cards, the official added, the suspects would get the money from Ehsaas Kafaalat Programme against their names.

After a thorough investigation, we managed to arrest them,” he said. He added that 40 CNICs of various people and 350 activated sims were also recovered from their possession.
A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
