LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Commercial Banking Circle (CBC) Peshawar has arrested  as many as three accused involved in Hawala Hundi business and recovered millions of Pakistani rupees and foreign currency from their possessions

According to details, the FIA wing on Wednesday continued its crackdown against illegal Hawala Hundi business in Peshawar and Malakand Divisions.

According to an FIA official, a special team of the FIA conducted three separate raids and recovered millions of Pakistani rupees, foreign currency including over 100000 Saudi Riyals and over 200 Dirhams from the possessions of the accused.

FIA teams managed to arrest three accused identified as Muzaffer Khan, Fateh Ullah and Shahid Iqbal from the spots. FIRs have been registered against them under Foreign Exchange Regulation Act 1947 and Anti money laundering Act 2010.
