ISLAMABAD: Football exports swelled 17.22 per cent during the first four months of the fiscal year 2021/22, compared with the exports during the corresponding period of the previous year, the latest data released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) revealed.
During the period from July-October 2021, footballs worth $50,148 were exported, compared with the exports of $42,780 during the same period of the previous year.

The exports of sports goods surged 20.73 per cent, as these goods worth $105,120 were exported during the period under review, compared with $87,070 during the preceding period of the previous year.
Meanwhile, when it comes to sports-related material, gloves exports also soared 6 per cent, as the exports registered $24,552 during the current fiscal year, compared with the exports of $23,163 during the corresponding period of the previous.

During the period under review, other exports stood at $30,420, up 43.99 per cent in the current fiscal year, compared with the exports of $21,127 in the same period of the previous year.
