ISLAMABAD: In their fresh act of state terrorism on Wednesday, Indian troops martyred two Kashmiris in Pulwama district of the occupied valley.

The Kashmiris were martyred by Indian troops along with paramilitary forces and police personnel during a so-called cordon and search operation at Qasbayar area of the district, Kashmir Media Service reported.

A senior police officer also confirmed the killing of two youth in the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

Last week, Pakistan had strongly condemned India’s state-terrorism and extra-judicial killings of innocent Kashmiris in fake encounters and so-called “cordon and search operations” in IIOJK.

Indian occupation forces had martyred 35 Kashmiris in less than two months in the valley. Three more civilians were martyred during a fake encounter on 24 November in Srinagar.

The Foreign Office (FO), in a statement, had reiterated that the Indian occupation forces were committing grave crimes against the Kashmiris, including enforced disappearances, targeted and extra-judicial killings, and collective punishment of the population.

“No amount of Indian sophistry can obfuscate the Indian state-terrorism perpetuated with shameless impunity in IIOJK,” it had said.

The use of brutal force could never succeed in breaking the will of the Kashmiri people, struggling for their inalienable right to self-determination as enshrined in the relevant UNSC resolutions, the FO had stressed.
