No Covid-19 death in last 24 hours: Sindh CM

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday said that no patient fell victim to Covid-19 virus in the province in last 24 hours.

As many as 10,588 coronavirus tests were conducted, of which 176 resulted positive during the last 24 hours across the province. As many as 683,8123 tests have been carried out in the province so far.

Meanwhile, 3,463 patients are under treatment whereas 144 are reportedly in critical condition.

Moreover, Pakistan imposed further restriction on in-bound passengers to prevent the new COVID-19 variant from coming to Pakistan.

The decision was announced after National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) reviewed the prevailing COVID-19 situation across the world in order to revise the policy categorization of air travel and Category C list.
