Faislabad: A disturbing video of four women being stripped naked and assaulted by a group of men went viral on social media yesterday.

The incident occurred at Bawa Chak Market in Faisalabad and the Police officers responded when a video of the incident went viral on social media platforms and arrested five men in Pakistan’s Punjab province for beating, stripping, and recording four women.

‘Women allegedly tore their own clothes’

Shopkeepers told the police that the women ripped up their own clothes when got caught, and threatened the shopkeepers.

A new CCTV footage has circulated on social media in which a woman can be seen tearing her own clothes, adding a dramatic twist to the tragedy. However, the significance of the clip from the same incident is uncertain.
