PM congratulates government for handling Covid-19 better than other South Asian countries

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan congratulates the government for handling the Covid-19 pandemic better than all the South Asian countries.

The premier tweeted the statistics regarding the unemployment rate in South Asia where Pakistan stands at the lowest.

The unemployed population rate across the region showed Pakistan with the lowest 4.3% unemployment ratio.

On the other hand, the latest stats shared by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) showed that in the last 24 hours no death case was reported across the country which is the first time in almost 2 years.

The Covid-19 positivity ratio continued declining in Pakistan to reach 1.28%.

As many as 443 new cases surfaced in the last 24 hours with 445 patients currently on critical care.

Earlier, Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar announced the lift of all Covid-19 restrictions in the country after the decline in the cases.
