Terrorists attack security check post in Balochistan

An officer was martyred and a soldier seriously injured when terrorists opened fire on a security check post in Balochistan.

According to Pakistan Army media wing (ISPR), terrorists attacked a security check post in Kahan on the outskirts of Awaran in Balochistan.

ISPR said that security forces retaliated by thwarting the attack and the fleeing attackers were chased in the nearby mountains where the exchange of fire took place.

The security forces successfully repelled the attack.

ISPR also said that during the clash, Major Shahid Bashir embraced martyrdom while another soldier was injured during the exchange of fire.
