Elon Musk wish for Amber Heard-Johnny Depp that “they both move on” 

While Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s defamation suit continues, Amber’s ex-boyfriend, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, has weighed in on the high-profile case. The jury is set to begin deliberations in the defamation lawsuit this week, and the result is likely next week.

Elon responded to a message on Johnny and Amber Heard’s trial on Twitter, writing, “I hope they both move on. At their best, they are each incredible.”

He was responding to MIT Research Scientist Lex Fridman’s tweet. Lex had penned, “My takeaways from Johnny Depp vs defamation suit: 1. Fame is one hell of a drug (for some). 2. Psychiatrists & lawyers come in drastically varying levels of skill. 3. Lying to millions of people is something humans are capable of. 4. Love can be messy. 5. Mega pint of wine.”

After her divorce from Johnny, Elon Musk and Amber had a brief romance. However, after a year of dating, they split up in 2017. The pair reconnected in 2018, however their relationship terminated after only a few months.

Johnny has filed a $50 million lawsuit in Virginia, claiming that she defamed him by referring to herself as “a public figure representing domestic abuse” in an opinion article she published. Amber countersued for $100 million, alleging that he slandered her by calling her charges a “hoax” through his lawyer.

On Friday, a seven-person jury discussed for over two hours and will resume deliberations on Tuesday. Amber’s December 2018 opinion post in the Washington Post, in which she made the assertion regarding domestic violence, is at the heart of the legal action. Although Johnny’s name was not mentioned in the article, his lawyer told jurors that it was apparent that she was referring to him.
