Major changes coming up in iOS 16
According to a new rumor, iOS 16 will feature “major changes across the system” as well as some new Apple apps. The information comes from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman’s Power On newsletter, which was just released.
When asked which operating system he thinks would get the most attention at the forthcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in 2022, Gurman said he believes it will be iOS 16. He does not believe, however, that Apple will radically overhaul its operating system when it is released.
In the Power On newsletter, Gurman also indicated that iOS 16 could bring “new ways of interacting” with the iPhone. On June 6, Apple is anticipated to reveal iOS 16 during its WWDC 2022 event. According to previous reports, iOS 16 may include updated app icons, interactive widgets, a floating app window, and improved theme options. It is also rumored to make changes to the camera app. Additionally, Gurman has said that iOS 16 would bring considerable enhancements to the notifications and health tracking capabilities.
According to reports, Apple is working on improving its atrial fibrillation detection feature for Apple Watch models. The smartwatches would be able to calculate ‘burden,’ or how frequently a person encounters this sort of arrhythmia over time, with this improvement. This functionality could also debut in June with watchOS 9.
