A guy was detained after a police raid discovered a large amount of cannabis on a home in Barrow.
Officers said they arrested a guy after carrying out a narcotics warrant at a residence on Longreins Road in response to community concerns.
Following the warrant, police seized a significant amount of cannabis, suspected drug paraphernalia, and an extendable baton.
The accused guy, 22, of Barrow, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a class B narcotic with intent to supply and possessing an offensive weapon.
He was eventually freed on the condition that he cooperate with the inquiry.
Uniformed reaction officers and tactical support group officers carried out the warrant.
Police are still looking for anybody with information on potential narcotics offences.
