Due to the growing Hindutva views in their nation, Indian celebrities keep their relationship with Pakistani celebrities under wraps out of fear that they will be perceived as anti-Indian and attacked by Modi’s purported followers.
Despite the tense relations between the two nuclear-armed nations, some celebrities cross boundaries and favor love and peace above rhetoric critical of Pakistan.
Aly Syed, the brother of Pakistani actresses Sajal Aly and Saboor Aly, recently posted a video with Sushmita Sen, the well-known Bollywood actor who became the first Indian to win the Miss Universe title.
In the video, she can be seen showing her affection to Pakistani actor sisters.
“Hi sweetheart, Sushmita here. You have the sweetest brother, who insisted that a photograph was not enough,” Sushmita said.
“I wish you all the best, and you are an amazing actor…Keep growing and make peace. I am always with you,” she added.
Make peace and keep growing. She continued, “I’m always with you,” and the video clip finished with a flying kiss.
Aly claimed that he ran across Sushmita Sen, the Bollywood star he has loved since childhood, and that he used to advise his mother to marry someone similar. He added, “Much love and respect to you.”
Even if they are separated by boundaries, famous people and even inhabitants of bitter rival countries have occasionally found a virtual way to come together.
